About me
Taylor was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. She graduated from Arizona State University with a Criminal Justice Degree. Taylor decided to take a proactive approach to working with youth. She was determined to make a change in education and the way society views our youth; specifically in communities already at a disadvantage. Prior to Playworks, Taylor worked as an Instructional Assistant at a K-8 school in Phoenix, and witnessed the impact Playworks could have on a community. She started at Playworks in 2016-17 as an AmeriCorps Coach at Bethune Elementary, then transitioned into various positions since then. She now lives in Portland, Oregon and is the Associate Program Director for the Pacific Northwest. In her free time, you can find Taylor with family and friends, looking for new restaurants in town, exploring new recipes, cycling the many bridges of Portland, or playing sports.
