About me
Romajean (she/her) serves as Director of Education and Community Engagement for Feed 7 Generations (), an Indigenous-led nonprofit advancing food sovereignty, cultural preservation, and health equity in Native communities. She oversees programs that strengthen traditional food systems, support Native producers, and provide hands-on education for youth and families, with a focus on expanding access to culturally relevant foods and resources.
Romajean brings together formal education, community experience, and Indigenous ways of knowing to support food systems, wellness, and community resilience. She holds a BA in Human Services, an MA in Strategic Communications, and a Graduate Certificate in Sustainable Business from the University of Washington, as well as a Certificate in Herbal Medicine from the Center for World Indigenous Studies. Her greatest teachers have also been her community and the cultural knowledge holders who have shared wisdom about traditional foods, plant medicine, and community care. These teachings shape her commitment to strengthening communities, preserving cultural knowledge, and advancing health and equity for future generations.
