About me
Nataliia Ledchak is a Ukrainian/Russian Interpreter and a Newcomer Student Family Liaison with the Puyallup School District, where she supports multilingual students and families in building strong connections to school systems and expanded learning opportunities. With a background in education and family engagement, she focuses on culturally responsive practices that center belonging, access, and academic success for newcomer students, particularly those from Ukraine and Afghanistan. She designs and facilitates programs that strengthen school-family-community partnerships, including multilingual family engagement events and after-school enrichment opportunities. Her work bridges schools and communities by removing barriers, increasing participation in expanded learning programs, and amplifying student voice. Nataliia is passionate about creating inclusive systems where every newcomer student feels seen, supported, and empowered to thrive.
