About me
Executive Director by day. Professional hope-instigator by night. Leads MENTOR Washington corralling mentoring professionals like a benevolent chaos wizard, and will absolutely ask you to “just real quick reimagine the entire system” before lunch. Fueled by coffee, justice, and a deeply held belief that young people deserve better adults. Jolynn is known for turning meetings into accidental motivation sessions and saying “this will only take 5 minutes” and meaning spiritually, not temporally. She is frequently spotted leading hope- and healing-centered work and whispering “we can do better than this” to broken systems. Strengths include strategic vision, emotional intelligence, and the ability to make mentoring feel both urgent and sacred. Weaknesses include forgetting to eat lunch and saying yes to “one more thing” that becomes a movement. If found unattended, please return to MENTOR Washington with snacks.
