About me
Emily is a PhD student in the Learning Sciences and Human Development program at the University of Washington, Seattle. Her research interests are centered on community education, artificial intelligence in education and its impact on adolescent development. As the Founder of Evo Learning Academy, Emily works to bring interactive technology education to community partners, junior colleges, and public schools across the South Puget Sound region. She currently works in the tech industry as a Solution Architect focused on AI business innovation. Born and raised in Tacoma, WA, Emily is passionate about research and education that empowers our communities to foster collective, flourishing futures for all.
