About me
Aaliyah Ashley-Meek is an Engagement Navigator for Spokane Public Schools with a background in youth development, college and career readiness, athletics, and expanded learning. She earned her bachelor's degree in Human Services from Western Washington University and master's degree in Administration and Nonprofit Leadership from Whitworth University. Prior to her current role, Aaliyah spent seven years supporting students through GEAR UP and has held leadership roles in after-school programming, summer camps, student support, and athletics.Aaliyah is passionate about creating meaningful opportunities for students to feel connected, discover their strengths, and find a place where they belong. Drawing from her experience working with young people both in and beyond the classroom, she is committed to reducing barriers to participation, building strong school-community partnerships, and helping students connect with experiences that allow them to grow, lead, and thrive.
