About me
The University of Washington Master of Arts in Applied Child & Adolescent Psychology: Prevention & Treatment program prepares students for careers providing clinical prevention and intervention services to children and adolescents in just 15 months. Our program trains in the use of evidence-based treatment programs for improving children’s mental health outcomes while providing real-world experience through an internship in local clinical mental health settings. Learning and training under nationally recognized experts in child psychology affiliated with our Departments of Psychology, Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences, and our Center for Child & Family Well-Being, our program graduates go on to work in a wide range of settings including schools, community organizations, and health care facilities.
